Are you an experienced Fleet Workshop Manager? You can help create a greener UK

A greener, more environmentally-friendly UK is possible and we’re making it happen. As a Workshop Manager at SUEZ, you’ll be contributing to a recycling and resource management company, helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

What will I be doing as a Workshop Manager?

This role will require you to oversee the entire workshop operation, including managing a team of experienced fitting staff who require leadership, motivation and development from you. You will need to develop a close working relationship with the operational business units which your workshop supports. This management position demands that you have a good solid financial awareness; which will include monitoring financial performance against budget and playing an active role in budget preparation. Also you will need to be able to suggest and implement ways to improve financial performance, such as identifying additional revenue opportunities and cost reduction measures. Within your control will be workshop loading and ensuring that we have maximum vehicle availability and reliability at all times. You will be working against a service level agreement and also against SUEZ Fleet standard benchmarks.

What are the requirements (Qualifications and experience)?

With a minimum 5 years post NVQ practical experience, some of which must be in a supervisory role, to be fully conversant in all aspects of vehicle maintenance and servicing and can train and develop a small team of workshop staff. To have full H&S, Budgetary and P&L responsibility for the workshop. Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Our approach

With a raft of benefits, family-friendly policies and excellent remuneration packages, there’s never been a better time to join SUEZ recycling and recovery UK.

We are proud of our fantastic opportunities for personal growth and development as we continue to build and grow our forward thinking company and you could play a key part in our success.

A friendly and supportive place that you will love to work, we believe creativity, clear communication and our drive for excellence are the keys to our success. We also expect our people to be enthusiastic and responsible. If you share our thinking – and have the qualities we’re looking for – you could play a big part in our dedicated team.
