Experienced Manager in an Operational role? Join us in the resource revolution

As an Operational Support Manager at SUEZ Industrial Water, a division of SUEZ Water UK, you’ll be part of a team that provides a holistic service in the water industry.

With innovation and new technology, we can create a greener future. But we can’t do it alone – which is why we need your help. Be part of a team that’s building new solutions for our planet.

The role

The Operational Support Manager is responsible for supporting our Industrial Operations and Maintenance contracts in relation to operating, optimising and improving the water and or wastewater assets across the UK. You will be on a management on call rota ( 1 in 8 ) and frequent travel to other SUEZ sites in the UK will be required. So some flexibility to travel will be needed.

This role will involve all aspects of the plant – process operations, maintenance and asset care, development projects, resource, risk, cost management and control and overall optimisation.

The Operational Support Manager is expected to drive operational excellence and significantly improve the reliability and efficiency of the water systems, providing value added support to SUEZ contract and operations managers.

What will I be doing as an Operational Support Manager ?

The manager will be responsible for taking ownership of day-to-day and medium term activities on our SUEZ contract sites in the UK. You will have control of operational budgets, which involves the controlling of project costs and be responsible for the development, safety and wellbeing of operational staff.

What are the requirements?

Ideally, you will have experience of being in a management or leadership role within the Water/Waste Water industry and be able to demonstrate leadership qualities in the management of a team of operators, skilled technicians and engineers. Project Management experience would be beneficial.
