Summary of vacancy

We are looking for a financial intern to support our fiscal activities for a 12-month period commencing in May / June 2019.

A student / graduate in the relevant financial / business or economic field is desirable and preferred candidates will have an appreciation of how to use problem solving methods and data driven analytical methods. Previous work experience is not essential, however an understanding of financial systems is desirable.

About the role

You will be the key interface between finance and operations supporting all aspects from identifying profit improvement opportunities to supporting preparation of budget / forecasts for the region as well as in depth insight into Private Finance Initiative (PFI) reporting.

You should be enthusiastic to learn with a natural desire to take on complex challenges and use problem solving methods to solve them. You should be highly proficient with software packages such as Microsoft Office and be able to present your findings within various forums.
