The role will be based at the PetroIneos site at Grangemouth and in the initial period a large proportion of the work will be supporting the SUEZ Services team at PetroIneos to ensure compliance with Statutory and Integrity inspection and repair works.

The Mechanical Engineer will assist in the technical development of the team as well as providing mechanical engineering input into the UK Services organisation. The relationship with the Services team is critical to enable the Engineer to identify and solve mechanical reliability issues.

The key deliverables include the responsibility for the assessment, design, verification and validation of mechanical requirements for a range of services for all operational sites and the provision of specialist mechanical advice to sub-contractors and client discipline engineers.

You should have extensive experience in a mechanical engineering role and ideally, have knowledge of industrial water / waste water treatment. Knowledge of air blowers, pumping specification, pipe conventions and design would be highly desirable.
