As a Street Cleansing Operative at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established recycling and recovery company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

About the role

  • This is a permanent position as a Street Cleansing Operative.
  • You will work 39 hours per week Monday to Friday on one of the following shift patterns (These are flexible):
  • 05:00 - 13:30
  • 07:00 - 15:30
  • 10:00 - 19:00
  • Our hourly rate for this role starts from £8.23 per hour
  • There is also some weekend shifts that will need to be covered.

What will I be doing?

  • You will keep the streets of Aylesbury District Council clear of litter, rubbish and fly tipping. You will be asked to do this by litter picking areas, barrow sweeping and assisting our van drivers.
  • We also keep the town centres and car parks litter free and help with the putting up and taking down of the market stalls.

What are the requirements?

  • Some experience of street cleansing would be preferred but full training on the job will be given.
