As a Sales / Business Coordinator at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

About the role

What will I be doing?

  • Key responsibilities of the role include being the initial contact for many of our sales enquiries and provide and maintain weekly reports of Key Performance Indicators to identify and prioritise incoming feed material into our site.
  • Identify new business leads.
  • Identify and ensure that all key accounts are effectively maintained and to liaise with key account customers to further maintain good customer relations.
  • Identify from Quality Control checks at processing sites the optimum feed material for producing our range of recycled / recovered products.
  • Create and present weekly reports to the commercial managers.
  • To liaise with commercial managers and senior site managers to ensure that our regional and local requirements for input, tonnages, revenue and inert materials are understood, and to direct sales and pricing accordingly to maximise the benefits and profit for our company.
  • To support reviews of waste types with the managers to effectively remove/price out low profit making waste streams, and to monitor sales activity within the region.
  • Must have a full UK Driving Licence.

What are we looking for?

  • Ideally educated to A-Level standard as a minimum, you must be able to demonstrate business influencing skills.
  • Working as part of a small strong team, you must have excellent problem solving, communication, numeracy and IT skills.
  • A high level of competence of Microsoft Office, in particular working with Microsoft Excel to produce spreadsheets, graphs is essential.
  • A successful track record of marketing is desirable, but not essential.
  • You will require commercial acumen, accuracy and a desire to succeed.
