As a LGV Class 2 Driver at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

About the role

A full time permanent role with a basic 45 hour week, Monday - Friday with Saturdays on a rota basis. Basic pay is £10.20 per hour, with ovetime after 45hrs and Saturdays at time and a half, Sundays and bank holidays at double time along with a day in lieu for bank holidays.

What will I be doing?

  • The role will involve the driving and operation of vehicles collecting commercial waste and recycling from our customers, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our companies health and safety rules.
  • The work will generally be on a Refuse Collection Vehicle as well as a RoRo.

What are the requirements?

Experience is preferred, although training will be given if you can demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team, delivering a high level of customer service.

  • An LGV Class 2 license, digital tachograph card as well as a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card are essential.
  • Good knowledge of tachograph laws.
  • Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable though not essential.
