About the Role

  • This is a maternity cover position, which will consist of a 16 mth fixed term contract (dependant on start date). With this role there is the potential to be flexible with hours, so we can consider full time (37.5hrs per week) or 30 hours per week part time (requirement to work Monday - Thursday as a minimum).

What will I be doing as a Cost Control Administrator?

We have a number of Energy from Waste facilities which are dedicated to giving waste that would have gone to landfill ‘a second life’. Your task will be to make sure that purchasing and invoicing at your site run like clockwork.

This will involve:

  • raising customer invoices and orders
  • handling payments and invoicing for any goods or services that we need
  • reporting weekly and monthly tonnage
  • General day to day administration including telephone and email queries
  • Managing our Waste Oil, Secure Disposal and Clinical Waste collections and invoices
  • Managing new customer accounts
  • Working alongside the Office Manager with set projects

What are the requirements? (Experience and qualifications)

For this role you will need to be a highly organised, numerate and IT-literate administrator, used to using Microsoft Office software.

You'll also need:

  • a good level of education (including English and Maths
  • previous administrative experience, ideally in a similar role.
