About the role

About the Role

  • This role is paid up to £15.00 per hour.
  • 45 hours per week comprising of a 5 a week with a half day every other Saturday.

What will I be doing?

The role is responsible for ensuring efficient deployment of staff and resources, promote recycling and diversion from landfill initiatives.

The role involves:

  • Ensuring full compliance of all recycling aspects on the site including adhering to relevant Environment and Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Working closely with the other members of the processing division team and contribute to ensuring we provide the best service to our clients and customers by operating above contractual standards.

What are the requirements?

  • Experience of working in a supervisory position is essential.
  • You must be able to demonstrate a passion for recycling/composting coupled with good communication skills.
  • Willingness to undertake other training and qualifications, e.g. first aid training and specific H & S qualification is also required.
  • Experience of working in the waste industry or agricultural industry is desirable, but not essential.
