About the role

What will I be doing?

  • Working as part of a busy accounts team, you will be responsible primarily for assisting the Management Accountant in the preparation of accounts, together with all respective reporting and reconciliation duties.
  • You will work closely with the other members of the management accounts team and contribute to the compilation and distribution of management reports.
  • Key responsibilities of the role include processing accountancy returns, balance sheet reconciliations, compilation of KPI’s and monitoring and reporting of capital expenditure and capital WIP.
  • You will also be involved in ad hoc projects and assignments as required in relation to the business.
  • As experience is gained, there will be some opportunity to do some preparation of final accounts.

What are the requirements?

  • You must be able to demonstrate good commercial and financial acumen. Working as part of a large management accounts team, you should be AAT qualified or progress to achievement.
  • Experience of working in management accounts for at least one year is essential.
  • You should be computer literate, including Excel to an intermediate level.
