Are you interested in joining a company committed to creating a greener planet? Do you have experience working in a production process environment, ideally with some quality control / assurance, or would like to be trained in this?

When you join SUEZ, you get more than a brand-new role. Your work will help us deliver innovative and environmentally responsible solutions for water and waste management. You will get a chance to help us preserve and restore our planet’s natural capital for future generations. It’s a career that’s not only exciting, but full of opportunities as well as professional and personal fulfilment.

About the role

What will I be doing?

This role will predominantly support the Quality Management System, with you at the start of the process and the first to review all the waste material entering site, identifying target and non-target material, playing a critical role to how the material is processed, the quality of the product being produced and how we manage our customers along the journey.

This will involve:

  • Collecting quality samples from incoming material and from processed material to assess purity.
  • Following sampling, recording levels of target material and reporting back non-conformance.
  • Weighbridge operation (full training provided) and general housekeeping.

What are the requirements?

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join the existing team and help ensure site operations exceed required standards.

A flexible approach will be needed, including providing holiday and sickness cover, along with:

  • A methodical approach, ideally with some QA experience but full training will be given.
  • Good safety awareness, with a desire to embrace and develop continuous improvement.
  • Previous high-volume production process experience, ideally some in the waste industry.
  • Good IT literacy and any lean or 5S a bonus.
