About the role

What will I be doing?

  • As part of our growing sustainability and community-focused team, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality services and supporting positive environmental and social outcomes across the region.
  • This role is ideal for individuals looking to make a real impact—whether you are at an early stage of your career, returning to work, or seeking a new challenge with purpose.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering operational data and trend analysis for your location, supporting effective service delivery and informed decision‑making.
  • Preparing, managing, and analysing data related to financial budgets, social value activities, and training programmes.
  • Supporting continuous improvement by identifying insights, opportunities, and innovative ideas through data analysis and collaboration with operational teams.
  • Monitoring compliance to ensure all aspects of the project are current and aligned with organisational standards and legal requirements.
  • Developing, delivering, and monitoring community‑based projects that increase participation, engagement, and recycling across the region, building strong relationships with residents, schools, community groups, and local stakeholders.

What are the Requirements?

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, including those who identify as underrepresented in our sector. If you are passionate about sustainability, social value, and community impact, we would love to hear from you—even if you do not meet every criterion.

You will bring:

  • Experience delivering social value projects and engaging a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Confidence working with internal and external customers, along with a collaborative and supportive team approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience using administrative or digital operating systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and confidently to diverse audiences.
  • Good prioritisation and multi‑tasking skills, plus local knowledge of the region.
