About the role

This role is a permanent, full-time position. This role is for our new Truro HWRC which is scheduled to open at the beginning of April.

The working hours will be 40hrs over a 7 day week (5 on, 2 off)

What will I be doing?

Leading and motivating the team to create a safe culture and provide excellent service to our customers.

Reporting to the Area Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily running of the recycling centre, ensuring compliance on site.

You will be required to plan effectively, coach and build relationships with team members, operate IT systems, mobile plant, fill in paperwork, dealing with customers and promoting recycling and diversion from landfill.

What are the requirments?

Previously worked in the waste industry is a benefit, as well as mobile plant, IOSH or COTC level 4, but training can be given.
