Would you like to complete an apprenticeship as an Bid and Tender Administrator? Are you looking for a dynamic and interesting role, gaining a relevant qualification, with a leader in the recycling and recovery industry sector?

As a Bid and Tender Apprentice at SUEZ, you’ll support the bid and tendering activities of the public sector bidding team.

Our apprenticeships are brand new for 2019, offering the candidate a great opportunity to learn and develop with SUEZ as a company.


About the role

What will I be doing?

  • You will be involved in the support of the bidding process to secure contracts for all business divisions in both the public sector.
  • You will provide support for all aspects of the bidding cycle from dealing with the initial expression of interest (PQQ) through to the various stages of bid development.
  • You will assist the public sector development team with all administration duties.
  • You will carry out filing, scanning and general administrative/organisational tasks for the team.

What are the requirements/qualifications?

  • You will have some previous administration experience and must be computer literate; able to use databases and suite of Microsoft Office applications to at least an intermediate level.
  • You will be expected to undetake their Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship which will be fully funded by the company.
  • You will have your GCSE Maths and English Language at Grade C or above.
  • You will have excellent communication and listening skills.
  • You will be required to complete tasks to deadlines in a busy environment and have excellent organisational skills. 
  • You will have some experience of problem solving and dealing with internal and external customers helpfully and courteously would also be advantageous.
  • You will work well as part of a team but can also work on your own using your own initiative.
