About the role

What will I be doing?

  • You will be responsible for creating film and photography that enables the business to share information, ideas and best practice with employees and other stakeholders. Reporting to the Internal Communications Manager, you will create engaging film and photography that forms part of agreed internal communication plans and other communication projects.
  • You will meet with internal stakeholders to discuss their requirements and set clear assignment objectives. Day-to-day, you will take responsibility for planning assignments, setting timelines, developing storyboards and writing scripts as required, ensuring all content is aligned with our business strategy. You will manage logistics and organise locations, people and equipment for each assignment.
  • The role will involve working a wide range of our people, including senior leaders. You will need to be a subject matter expert that stakeholders can rely on for advice and direction.
  • You will be working to create visual content primarily for the Health and Safety Team, working on an array of projects. You will also work closely with the marketing team and brand team, you will produce content for external facing digital channels (social media, website), as well as printed communications, such as reports and brochures. 
  • The position will be located at our Maidenhead office with frequent travel around the UK and comes with a car allowance.

What are the requirements?

  • You will be an accomplished filmmaker and photographer with three to five years' corporate experience. The role will require you to work independently with a great deal of creative freedom from the offset.
  • You will have experience of working on every aspect of production including research, script writing, storyboarding, filming and editing.
  • A sound understanding of how digital channels can be used as part of a successful communication campaign is key, along with an interest in design, content trends and technology.
  • You must be proficient in Adobe Premier Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Audition, and video conversion applications. We use both Mac and PC platforms within the team, so some knowledge of both is preferable.
  • You will have a good knowledge of social media platforms and creating content specific to particular platforms including YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
  • You will have experience of working with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  • You will have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • You must be an excellent written and oral communicator, with strong presentation skills and be able to think creatively and develop new concepts.
  • You must have excellent time and project management skills and be able to work to deadlines. 
  • The role will involve travelling to different parts of the UK, so the candidate will need to hold a valid UK driving licence.
  • You will be expected to help support the Health and Safety and Communications Teams in producing and hosting webinars from time to time.
