Summary of vacancy

As a Technical Manager at SUEZ, you’ll be part of a team that provides a holistic service in the water industry and help our customers reduce their impact on the environment.

The role

You’ll be based from our Offices at Aztec West, Bristol, with travel to our clients sites, as required. You’ll be asked to lead the Aquadvanced software implementation process and provide technical expertise.  It will include feasibility studies, detailed designs, and full system implementations. The role closes on the 23/04/2019 with interviews scheduled for the following week. It offers a package of £50-55,000 per annum, plus company car/car allowance, bonus, 23 days holiday + BH, pension.

What will I be doing as a Technical Manager?

You will take the lead on our energy implementation projects in UK & Ireland, as well as be key point of contact with Suez Smart Solutions team in NZ on all technical aspects of the solution, and liaison on joint project delivery. You will have Project Management responsibility to ensure we are on time and on budget, and manage a team of project engineers

What are the requirements?

You should be educated to degree level in engineering, computer science or a related subject with a minimum 4 years’ optimisation or software programming experience, in an engineering analysis or support role and experience in project management of software solutions.

We would expect you to be an expert in in SQL database systems, have VBA skills and experience using SCADA systems. In addition, it is desirable that you are familiar with hydraulic modelling tools, have familiarity with UK Energy Market, it’s regulations and working practices.
